Why Susie Kerwin is My Heroine

Midwest Airlines' Pet Guru Makes the Skies Safe for Furry Friends

It was many, many years before I felt comfortable entrusting a four-footed friend to the cargo area of an aircraft. But I now feel perfectly safe flying dogs when necessity arises – as long as I can fly them on MIDWEST AIRLINES. Susan Kerwin is Midwest's resident Pet Guru, and she's personally ensured that beloved animal companions consistently experience the safest, most stress-free time in the air by designing Midwest's "Premier Pet" program. For animal friends who need to travel long distances, Midwest really is "The Best Care in the Air."

Susie happens to be a breeder of champion English Setters, with eight gorgeous dogs of her own, including "Jet-Set Julie," whose lovely photographs adorn many Midwest marketing materials. Susie's dogs will be competing at next year's super-prestigious WESTMINSTER KENNEL CLUB DOG SHOW. She also personally supervises the flight plans of America's most famous Beagle, the 2008 Westminster winner Uno.

Susie loves all dogs, the fortunate and the less-so – and she's helped me enormously by flying RESCUES out of danger, so they could find loving new homes. How's this for an endorsement of the "Premier Pet" program? The former shelter dogs she's flown to me on Midwest have arrived looking completely relaxed and refreshed, as if they'd just spent the morning at TOWNHOUSE SPA. So here's to you, Susie: For ensuring that pets consistently enjoy a first-class, stress-free air travel experience, you're my heroine!
