Throughout the year, CESLIE - The Women's Network™ honors a woman who
personifies the qualities that set the standard for the modern businesswoman. In
October, we were pleased to honor JAMIE AHN.  On October 24, 2006, Carre Otis,
Dawn Durham, Mary Bemis, Elise Kirban, Emily Conner and Ceslie Armstrong hosted
a private cocktail soiree and toasted honoree Jamie Ahn at one of the most
glamorous rooms in NYC: The World Bar at Trump World Tower near the U.N.
The invitation to the event said the following about Jamie:  "Jamie Ahn
personifies the ultimate entrepreneurial woman: smart, gorgeous, witty,
diplomatic, charming, dedicated, and honest. She has created the modern woman's
oasis at Townhouse Spa where one can be pampered and do business
simultaneously!"  For two hours, 75 NYC power women enjoyed fabulous "Pomtini's"
made with POM Wonderful and super filtered IDOL Vodka. The fun and charming
guests sipped Louis Bouillot sparkling wines in the absolutely beautiful setting
of the internationally famous The World Bar.
Ceslie interrupted the networking by tapping on one of the darling small
bottles of Evian that were on hand and quieted the room. She presented Jamie
with a gorgeous Tiffany & Company engraved crystal platter and Jamie graciously
invited all the women to visit her posh Townhouse Spa. A lot of laughter,
business card exchanges, and planning for the future was enjoyed by all.
More about the October 2006 honoree Jamie Ahn:  Jamie has a penchant for
products, delights in discovering new brands and excels in exceeding customer
expectations. Her intense desire to help people is what caused her to leave Wall
Street behind, bringing with her an expertise in business development and
planning. Her financial acumen, creative ideas and spa background (she grew up
watching and learning the business from her mother, Esther Ahn, who owned
several spas) helped turn her dream of operating a successful day spa in
Manhattan into a reality. Jamie's desire to provide her customers with the best
services and treatments quickly put Acqua on the map as one of the best spas in

celebrities and now her monumental uptown Townhouse Spa is the must-visit spa in
NYC for business women and men.
