Oren Joseph Postrel

Oren Joseph Postrel is a graduate in the History of Art from the University of California at Berkeley and has been tasting and reading about wine it for years.

Oren is also a graduate of the Hebrew Union College-Jewish Institute of Religion where he received a Masters of Arts in Hebrew letters and Rabbinic ordination. A frequent traveler to Italy and France, his first job as a rabbi was in Paris and Grenoble in 1993, where the love affair with wines began.

He has worked as rabbi in Manhattan, the Bronx, Toronto and now in the utterly sublime Napa Valley, California. His wine interests have taken him to Condrieu, Barolo, Cinque Terre, Niagara on the Lake, UCDavis, and Napa.
